SLR Trial Run

Today my BIL brought over a couple of Nikon SLR cameras for me to play with. (Yes, he has enough cameras that he can just let me borrow a "couple" -- spoiled bachelor!) Tomorrow we are driving up into the mountains to go on a "picture taking expedition...." Should be interesting. I snapped this pic of Penny today... I love how her blue eyes sparkle....

Speed Scrap LO

There was another Speed Scrap tonite at ScrapMatters... I don't know what it is about them... they are really ADDICTIVE. I am still pluggin away trying to get my cruise storybook done... I am getting close..... I did this LO for the speed scrap tonite....

Parker is off to Kindergarten (Boo-Hoo!)

Well.... today was the day Parker started Kindergaten. I can't believe it... I am still in shock! He did pretty well. He was crying when I left... which broke my heart, but his teacher (Ms. Benjamin) said he stopped crying right after I left and had a great day. He seemed pretty excited when I picked him up... I hope things continue to go well for him!! Here is a page I scrapped (for therapy) while he was at school! :)

I want to share some of my favorite digi-layouts.... I have done QUITE a few... and lately I have been scrapping our Disneyland and Disney Cruise pictures like a MANIAC! I LOVE scrapping these pictures. It makes me feel like I am reliving our fabulous trip! I leave you tonite with this one... which is one of my faves!!

Wow.... I can't believe I am doing this.... I never thought I would start a Blog!! But, "everyone is doing it" as they say, so I figured I may as well join the crowd! I have really gotten into digital scrapbooking over the past year. It is such a fantastic, meaningful hobby -- I LOVE it!! So I am hoping to use this space to share some of the tips I have learned, some favorite products, and some of my "masterpieces." LOL!! Well -- they are masterpeices to me anyway! I have even been selected to 2 Creative Teams for Designers over at ScrapMatter.com... which is SO MUCH fun! So see... I have lots to blog about! Now... if I can just be good and keep it up! "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....."
